The folks who wrote the set of ancient/medieval miniatures rules already entitled "Art of War" have recently staked their claim to the title on The Miniatures Page:

http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=100511

Just a 'heads up' as to some of the discussion going on 'out there.' Personally, I think that a new title would be highly advisable... from a PR standpoint, if nothing else.

There are no legal issues with us using AoW as Sun Tzu is long gone, so its purely down to marketing and picking the best name to get the feel across and appeal to the most people. AoW has already built up quite a head of steam and nothing else quite fits so far! Keep the ideas flowing though as we may yet find a winner :)

(Slightly) more sensibly:

Worlds at War
Nations in Arms
Waging War
Battle and Victory
The Age of War
Cold Steel
Battles of Antiquity
Battle Commander (or Ancients Battle Commander)

Sword and Sandal

Rules of Ancient Warfare - RAW 3000BC-1500CE

WAR 3000BC-1500CE,
I like this best but it could be subtitled for acronyms sake as:
(Warfare - Acients Rules)

Generalship of Ancient Times - GOAT any time, nice in curry

Or there is also the possibilty of this simple adjustment:

Ancient Art of War (AAoW)
3000 BC - AD 1500

I agree that this would be a problem. But then, there is already an ancient/medieval miniatures rule set entitled Art of War. :(

BELLUM SE IPSUM ALET - war feeds itself
DULCE BELLUM INEXPERTIS - war is fun if you've never experiencesd it (how apt!)
EGO SUM BELLUM - I am war
MULTIS UTILE BELLUM - war is useful for many
PERGITE DEGUSTATE FORMOSUM BELLUM - forward to teh beautiful war
SI VIS PACEM PARA BELLUM - those who desire peace shuold prepare for war
