does this mean they move by whealing and turns as a group of light horse would?

or is it their move distance that is as light horse, and they move like a DBM single element?

They move at the speed of Light Horse. (And would be similarly slowed by terrain)

That is not what we play. We may be wrong but generals just mive LH speed in any direction and whiz through things if required.
