The press release indicates that AoW has been in development for twelve months, and "early 2008" suggests up to another twelve before the commercial release. IMHO, taking two years to produce a brand new rule set from scratch seems quite reasonable, especially if it results in a well-written, throroughly playtested, and professionally presented final product.philqw78 wrote:Just seen the press release. 2008?. Alas Nick - being highly drilled in such matters - didn't need to take a Complex Move Test. 
Great you all like the exciting news. And having been in from the beginning I can say that 2 years can pass very quickly when working on something like this. JD's first meeting of the authors team - somewhere in a pub down the M4 - feels only a few months ago....but is in fact a year ago now.
