Burgundian Wars

Post by timmy1 »

If I were to refight one of the Burgundian Wars battles but using FoG:R, would anyone be interested in me posting an ARR? Thinking of refighting the same battle FoG:AM and FoG:R (not sure which one yet), probably 650 points and comparing the effects.

Ran the game today, with 2 FoGR novices (both had played 2 games of FoG:AM). One hates FoG:AM but really liked FoG:R (he played the Swiss) and is looks to convert his condotta army from Gush. The other played the Burgundians and may have enjoyed it less but seemed to enjoy it somewhat - he has DBR armies so lets hope. Lots of people at the club came over to watch. We ran out of time because of my slow style of explaining and the scenario. I will write up and try to post some photos later in the week. Great fun and I would love to do it again.

Wow sounds like he might be a long lost brother who was stolen by Gypsies.... or was cursed by Gypsies. Last game I kept rolling 1's for death rolls and CT's, guaranteed to lose a game big time doing that :(
