Will This Work on a NETBOOK?

Post by Igorputski »

Now that I have it was wondering before downloading to my Netbook if it will even run on it? I do have 2gb of memory which I think is PC-2 6400 280mhz 4-4-4-12 series? Mobile 945 chipset family with WinXP service pak 3, video i945gme 224mb? Intel Atom N270, 1.60ghz

I just noticed that this memory is rated at 400mhz but only running at 280mhz...why? It should be running at 6-6-6-18 according to CPU-Z.

My desktop and probably your netbook have power saving features that adjust the cpu based on need. When you run a more demanding program that number will change.

The problem is the game needs 1024x768 not x600
You can call me junk - and type that with one hand.

Arghhhhhhhh why don't these wargame publsihers make games for the Netbook video 1024x600?

Netbooks are popular now cause so cheap and small.

I am running it very successfully with an ACER Aspire One Netbook. I have 1GB of Memory, Windows XP, an Intel Chip set I believe it is a 945. It also uses an Atom processor at 1.6 and runs fine on a screen resolution of 1024X600. Actually it out performs my Intel duo-core with 2 GB of ram, Windows Vista, and the same chipset and running at the higher resolution.

We actualy set the minimal resolution for CTGW to 1024x600 when we discovered that resolution existed :P

It runs fine on my Samsung NC10 with 2GB RAM with no resolution problems ... apart from the fact everything looks small

Actually there IS a setting for 1024x600 resolution in the setup so the game runs fine. Great now I can play it at work.

The game runs in any resolution your card can support.
