Questions on Killing Fields and River Line

Have just finished "River Line" and still playing "Killing Fields" Started the games before 1.5.1 but finished after the update. I can not make sense of the victory points. The number of flags do not match up. Had "River Line" suddenly end with the French holding two flags with 7 turns left but starting to counterattack and have no idea why it ended. could someone with more knowledge explain the oddities in victory Points and the number of flags on the map. I am confused.

Are these MP games? The updates Iain had to make could well cause oddness . I've taken a couple of stabs already at a more robust replay system, but I'm afraid it's still work in progress...

Yes these are MP games.

We had to fix some VP issues in MP so games started before 1.5.1 could have odd thigns happen. Hopefully all shoudlbe fine now!
