Updater not working

Hi, I am trying to update to the new 1.5.1 version, but the updater is not working. I have added permission for it through my firewall. Is there a link for direct download?

The updater changed in 1.4.1 and now has a new filename, UPDATER2.EXE, so you might need to re-authorise it.

No, I only see "updater.exe". I manually updated to version 1.5 from the 1.3 install that I got when I bought the game. So I don't know if that is related.

updater doesn't work for me either.

The game just stops.

BA is listed as an exception in my windows firewall.
It also says (when i try to look for it) updater2.exe doesn't exist...

So I'm still stuck with 1.50 (bought BA+BF this morning), and of course I started a multiplayer game before the patch...

Argh. I don't think we included that possibility in the France installer and patcher. So that file will be missing. I will host it seperately which should solve the issue you are having.

I posted this already under "Trouble updating from 1.5? Read this!", but maybe here is a better place:

I'm afraid I still don't know where to place UPDATER2.EXE, as I don't see an UPDATER.EXE folder in the first place, nor an 'Install' folder, after checking all folders and subfolders in the game.

I did find an 'uninstall' folder though, but I suspect that's not what I need...

So where exactly do I place UPDATER2.EXE?

My current version (bought online yesterday) is BA+BF v1.50.

On a side note, maybe it's better to also provide a manual link to patches. Having more hassles with automatic patching than with manual patching kind of defeats the purpose... (I never had difficulties with FOG automatic patching though).

Edit: I set UPDATER2.EXE as an exception in my Windows Firewall. All I need to know now is exactly where to place it in the game folder (I can't find a UPDATER.EXE, nor an 'Install' folder), as the game still won't update. Thanks.

Update: I figured it out (thanks to a post in the other thread). Phew!...
