Hi There

Has anyone got any references books or articles to the fighting ability of the Highlander apart from S Reids books and Stevensons book on the Irish leader.

Try John Sadler - Culloden and also Clan Donalds Greatest Defeat. Some of these are out of period but to be honest I think the fighting style stayed the same but the missile weaponry was updated from bow to musket. I have a lot more but no access to them all at the moment. Sadler also did a book called Border Fury which might be helpful.
