Reinstalling Woes :(

Okay...I have all the various files:

>ceaw_gold_setup
>ceaw_gold_1.12.1
>CEaW_v1.12_GS_expansion
>CEaW_v1.12_GS_expansion_v1.02
> GS v1.06


I installed ceaw gold set-up.
Then I installed the 1.12.1 patch...when I went to run the game...nothing happened beyond a bried flash of a DOS window.

I found in the Tech section here about that prob, so uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game and ran it...fine...reinstalled the 1.12.1 and fine.

When I install GS 1.06...nothing happens when I try to run the game. What is this ancient soul doing wrong?

Should I have some other patch in the main game? Should I have installed GS expansion and then 1.02 and then 1.06?

Finally figured it: Don't run the 1.12.1 mini-patch!
