Venue: Burton upon Trent Town Hall
A great weekend in a large well lit venue with good food and bar, free parking, prize draw for early entrants and a small selection of traders.
This year we offer a choice of competitions.

King Edward Place,

Staffordshire,

Later Medieval 1150-1500AD


Fields Of Glory Doubles,

900 points any book but 1150-1500AD only £22.00 per team.

DBM Doubles

500 points 1150-1500AD only. £22.00 per team.

DBMM Doubles

500 points 1150-1500AD only. £22.00 per team.

Enclosing a stamped addressed envelope


Please make cheques payable to Burton and District DBM.

We apologise for the small price rise for next year’s competition, it is the first for several years and is solely to cover the increased cost of hiring the hall.

Where ever possible please include your email address as it is the easiest and quickest way for us to contact you if there are any queries about lists etc.

Probably worth mentioning that the draw for this competition is done by hand. It will be swiss, BUT , generally armies are faced off against geographic contemporaneous opponents. So, there may be seen to be a geographical divide in the draw (east/west).

This is how its is done every year - but perhaps just best said beforehand

I don't think there is a form as such. Just send your cheque (and list) to the address above. The entry form listed on the website is actually the army builder XLS

There is a discrepancy between this post and the one on the Burton Website. Here the FoG is any book but on the Burton one it has restricted books. Which is correct?

The BAD website is wrong - its any book.

corrected to show all books within dates. As for the comment on life - who am I to comment? :D

Despite having (not personally) fought them for 100 years I think the French are my favourites to win. At least once they have learnt something from the English and brought a few longbows.

Won't it be a bit confusing with all these French armies about. If two play one another how will they know who is surrendering to whom?
