...shouldn´t display the france national colours instead the white US star?

I believe that symbol was for allied forces after the US entry into the war but...

Since the BF campaign is a self contained expansion with the Germans first in the uniticons.dds they could have made a custom one for this. But the British are in these battles too and they both use the same colours in their roundels only reversed.
