Anyone else find french "Nooooo!" annoying?

Jesus, it makes my head hurts! Specially if played several times in the same turn.

It´s a great sound but is played quite loud and is very long: Nooooooooooooooooooooooo (goes forever). Maybe shortening it a bit would make it less annoying to hear.

I opened the file with audacity and can lower the volume but when I try to shorten it I get a little click sound at the clip.
Anyway I don't know how you would mod the game with it.

I think it sounds like a hopeless scream...quite creepy. I am fine with it, but my girlfriend hates it. Everytime she hears it when I am playing the game, she would come over and turn my speakers off....too bad.
