Large Armies

This point has been raised repeatedly since FOG came out, with no fix, or any apparent interesting in fixing, from the developers:

In S&S it is, as far as I can tell, impossible to build 1000 pt armies with almost any of the army lists, and with many you can't even reach 800. Even with armies of 800 pts, troop types have the same caps as 400 pt armies. It seems like it would be pretty easy to increase troop type caps pro rata for armies over 800 pts or something.

This, along with the pathetic excuse of a manual, is my biggest gripe against this game (OK, other than the combat system, which I already recognize won't be fixed). Is a fix in the works?
