One improvement I would like to see which I think would go some way to dispelling the perception of cheating is a proper Replay feature. I think we have all experienced the situation where we end our turn feeling comfortable about our troop displacements only to start our next turn to discover that our opponent has launched a devestatating assault that has done far more damage then we thought possible. This may lead to the suspicion that our opponent has cheated. At the same time I know that I have done the same to my opponent, often without even getting lucky. As others have pointed, out with proper planning and execution it is often possible to achieve remarkable results (of course it also possible to have the best laid plans thwarted by a stupid Bulgarian corps that refuses to retreat or die, but that is another story). My point being that if we had a proper Replay feature, where you could replay all of your opponents movements (that are within your viewing range) and attacks, then I think a lot of us would be able to say "Ok now I see how he did it, I guess he didn't get all that lucky after all." Of course, the flip side is that if your opponent is cheating and you can see all of his moves and attacks and he does appear to be getting lucky turn after turn then you will know this is one person you probably don't want to play again.

Having said all this I realize that a proper Replay feature would probably not be easy to program at this stage. Just something to keep in mind for CEAW2 (will there be a CEAW2?)
