The joy of a wet pallete

I have just discovered the joy of a wet pallete. Found mention of it in http://irregularmagazine.com/ and then had to get a friend to run me through it. I have a plastic cotainer with an airtight lid (tuppa wear), filled it about 3/4 full with layers of dish washing sponge, filled that about 2/3 with water and cut out a piece of baking parchment to sit on top of the sponges. the parchment has to have good contact with the top of the sponge.

This keeps my paint and particularly my mixed paint wet and has speeded up my painting. It means that I will be able to mix paint much more than I have been doing.

All the materials should be available in tesco or similar.
