Has anyone seen my old friend Marius?

Can you tell me where he's gone?

Perhaps:

A lot of Indo-Aryan-Turko-Goth types wandering around the steppes at times too. Still, interesting.

I have often wondered why DNA testing was not used more often in contemporary archaeological and historical studies.

This idea was first advanced in the 1950's and seems to crop up about every 6 months (at least on wargames sites). It isn't new and it is discredited.

I have often wondered why DNA testing was not used more often in contemporary archaeological and historical studies.

It is quite widely used, however, it doesn't actually answer many questions.

No. They are descended from English criminals. If it was English prisoners they could be any nationality.
