Some questions about maps . . .

i) How many different maps are there available now, roughly, counting all the expansion packs (not including historical scenarios)?

ii) I have no idea at all about computer programming, but would it be possible to release your historical scenario maps as empty DAG maps for us to gallop round in the future?

iii) Would it be of any assistance to you if some of us designed empty maps for DAG and sent them to you in the same way that we send scenarios?

There are 211 maps in the DAG system.

Yes if sent to keith@hexwar.com as DAG needs need a little extra processing.

Yes again as above.

Ideally they need to be 30 wide by 20, or 40 wide by 30 or 50 wide by 30. Thats all the DAG system accepts ..... at the moment!

Ah, at the moment, the few scenarios I have done so far tend to be on square maps (usually) 30x30 - so they wouldn't be of much use right now then. Are you expecting to change the DAG system to incorporate 30x30 or 40x40 in the near future (might you have a provisional time frame?), or would it be more sensible for me to redraw my scenarios as 40x30? I presume that I would have to re-write these scenarios from scratch again i.e. it is not possible to re-set the size parameters, even to a larger setting than the original?

As regarding your other answers - thanks, I'll see what I can come up with.

OK, I will start re-drawing my scenarios to be compatible with your DAG system. Give me a couple of weeks and I will send you my first batch.

I sent a small batch of empty maps to Keith last week. Did you get them? Are they of any use?
