The poodle claims his first true victory: 17pts of parliamentarians downed to (i think it was) 8 royalist points (maybe 10)
My poor horse couldn't carve through his cavaliers even with the aid of the cuirassiers (one went disrupted and repeatedly refused to charge in to aids its fellows)(and the commanded shot repeatedly refused to charge in at the same spot)
Dragoons are very useful, esp. when facing hated cavaliers from trees.
All in all, a fun (long) battle. We will run another 1642 battle. Maybe instead of posting photos I'll try madaxeman's battlemaker thingie. We are getting to the point of being able to photograph...maybe by xmas.
