Currency Converter not working

problem with currency converter at checkout stage.
Hi
Many thanks for the quick responce. The problem is occuring on the checkout page. I add my items to the basket, go to the checkout, it is all in USD, I try to change it to GBP, but it just keeps resetting to USD, so I cant find out how much the item will be is £'s. It looks like its still on the Slitherine site. Really hope you can help, or perhaps its just me being a muppet, I dont know, lol

it certainly shouldnt do that. Where abouts are you placing the order from? What country have you set? Could you send a screenshot to us so we can investigate. Also please tell us your ooperating system & browser so we can check that out. This is a new system and there may be a few minor glitches in it.
Mail your screenshot to info@slitherine.co.uk with a repeat of this info and we'll look in to it and see if we can get you up and running.
Is it possible to try on another PC and see if it has the same issues for you? Or try on that PC with another browser. This will all help us narrow down the issue.

Sorry about all this. I'm afraid I dont know how to do a screen shot. All I can say is that I go to the Slitherine web site (I live in the UK). Then I go to the shop, click on the game that I want to add it to the cart. I then go through the checkout process and that is where the currency converter is, which seems to me to be stuck on USD. The drop down box works, I can select Euro and Pounds, but when I click on convert, the screen refreshes itself and comes back as the price in Dollars. I do not know where to go to 'select my country' I think you said. My operating system is Win 7 and I'm running Norton Internet Security (latest version) and Iternet Explorer (latest version). All the operating system, browser and Norton are up to date as far as patches etc. are concerned. I have used the web site before and downloaded some games (which are great by the way) without any problems and I was using the same system then as now, I want the Digital (CD) copies this time to send as a present. I do not have another computer to try this on and I'm disabled so its difficult for me to get out at the moment. I'm really sorry I can not be of more help. Thanks also for taking the time to help a silly old fool out.

Which game are you trying to buy? It might be game specific as its not happening here.
To take a screenshot press Print Screen and then you can paste it in to a word doc or an e-mail. If you manage to do this mail it to info@slitherine.co.uk.

I have now managed to try an order Field of Glory - Digital version from another computer using Win XP instead of Win 7 and Firefox browser isnstead of Internet Explorer 8 (latest version) and different AV software. I am getting the same results. I go to the shop click on the game and 'box version', get taken to the next screen change using the drop down box from USD to GBP, click on change button, it removes the first line of my address and resets to USD. I have now tried to order this game on two different machines, using two different operating systems and two different web browsers with the same results. I did manage to email you a screen shot with a copy of one of my forum posts yesterday. Any other suggestions would be welcome. I need the box version as it is going to be a present.
