Hammy:
In the slave revolt list: did you find it more advantageous to have the amrd/Ave/IF/Sw as HF or MF?

given the Armd/Sup/IF/Sw can only be HF is it worth bringing them with a MF option?

Cheers.

Tarascan can have 26 BGs of 3 point rubbish bow (6 bases to a BG)

Mound Builder can have 72 bases of 2 point light spear medium foot and 64 bases of rubbish MF or LF bow.
The other thing to consider is that many of the Blood & Gold armies can also be used in FOGR, and in those rules many of their troops are even cheaper, so you get even more of them!

Early Nomad.....18 Battlegroups with an inspired commander, Including 6 BG of CAMELS!!!!!!!!!!

And even better, all the troops are terrible but with 24 stands of CAMELS on the table how can you go wrong.

Because you can then afford 2 FCs and always double flank march 3 BGs on each side and still have 16 BGs at deployment on the table.
