Excellent news - looking forward to this expansion, especially with all the current media attention (at least in the UK) for the 70th anniversary of the Battle Of Britain. With that in mind and the new units available I might even have a go at trying to create some hypothetical Operation Sealion scenarios (hint, hint Slitherine!). I think that the scale of Battlefield Academy would fit perfectly with the hamlet-by-hamlet, village-by-village fighting that could have taken place acress the south and south-east of England had the invasion gone ahead. Still one thing at a time - it's off to France first!

Sealion was the second thing I thought of after seeing the announcement. I hope you follow through.

I've got a lot of info if you need help.

No worries! Better to get it right, but in fairness it is hard to understand how you would advertise a release date and then not notice 'its passing'.

I probably do given the current games market (and given my background). Oh well, project mangement and reality are often 'different worlds'. Again, no worries - nobody died!

Is there a new release date yet? The Product Info page still has 18 Nov 2010.

We've run into a couple of technical issues, plus one logical one with regard to making it simple to create new scenarios with the new content. We are working to get it sorted asap, as pretty much all the content and missions are done.

Cheers

As long as there are no major bugs or something strange in the release you could take all the time you´ll need. We will be patient.

The game is basically done - we're just trying to solve logical/technical issues with the expansion pack and ensuring it works with future ones and makes it easy for you guy to apply them. We have had some nasty issues with Field of Glory caused by not soloving these things up front making it tricky for people to get their version up to date in some situations. We want to avoid this so that you have a good experience and we don't have to spend a lot of time giving support :)
