Greek Baggage Camp Help

Post by pcelella »

I hope this hasn't been asked before, but I'd like to put together a baggage camp for a Greek/Macedonian/Successor army in 15mm, and I'd like to request any recommendations for how to go about it. I'd be happy to purchase something appropriate, or try to build something that works reasonably well. Maybe a temple or oracle? A sacrifice scene?....I don't really know, and I'd love some help.

Thanks

I would recommend you to buy tents, like the ones sold by http://www.baueda.com , some camp followers, boxes, jars and some animals. They are really nice and you have several types to choose from. I wouldn't go for a temple, but if you want to have some religious practices you can depict a sacrifice of a bull before the battle (as in Stone's movie Alexander) in the middle of the camp.

I agree the new ancient supplies are very nice: http://www.baueda.com/logistics.html#LGS1
In classic greece they sacrified a goat just at the beginning of the battle.
