I think I must be thick

I've tried to down load the pegus bridge games but to no avail any one help someone who's no good on computers please.

Have you tried using the in game user content system - a number of free scenarios are available there now - can;t remember if this is one of them. On the campaigns list just click the button at the top of the screen and choose the content to download.

Not sure what point you've got stuck so from the start ...

1 - Download the file following Amaris' link in this thread. The link to the zip file is right at the bottom of the webpage you go to.

2 - Once you've got the zip file - it's called Amaris_missions.zip - extract the file into the folder MyDocuments\MyGames\BBCBA\Campaigns (assuming you are using Windows XP). It should create a folder in your Campaigns folder called Amaris_Missions which has all the files for all 3 of Amaris' maps, including the Pegasus Bridge one.

3 - If you then go into the game and look in your Campaigns it'll be there within the Amaris Mission campaign

I'm sure there's something there that doesn't make sense but give it a go.
