French Wars of Religion
A quick question for those in the know- would I need more than 20 stands of Reiters and 12 stands of mtd Arquebusiers for both the Huegenot and Catholic armies combined? I will be ordering some figures soon and need to figure out if I need to oder more of these two or not. I have been building up the figures for the Italian Wars, and this period just seemed a natural extension. Thank you in advance.

Before 1600 both sides could total 38 bases of reiters (and no mounted arqubusiers, apart froma few LH argoulets).

Not that the French Wars of Religion go on as late as 1600 Richard ...

Good point, but the Huguenot list does - until Henri IV's assassination.nikgaukroger wrote:rbodleyscott wrote:Those numbers are fine from 1600.pylum2 wrote:A quick question for those in the know- would I need more than 20 stands of Reiters and 12 stands of mtd Arquebusiers for both the Huegenot and Catholic armies combined? So no Mounted Arquebusiers in the Wars of Religion, except a few LH.
