ECW Parliament list ??
1. Northern Assoc. states 3/4 - all BGs. Do I round up or down if I have say, 5BG? So could I keep 2 pike/shot BG?

Surely it means that they must be in multiples of 4, 3 of one type and one of another or multiples thereof...
Having re-read it, MikeK is correct. Sorry.

So I can only have 4 pike/shot BGs or 8? That makes no sense. Rather 3/4 + so 3/4 of 5 = 3.75 so must have 4 since you can't go down to three. Thanks guys...just was wondering in one of those ancient brain moments.timmy1 wrote:Surely it means that they must be in multiples of 4, 3 of one type and one of another or multiples thereof...

Personally I would think you could only have 3 out of the 5 as all shot. 3 out of 4 battle groups can be all shot, kind of like losing 1 die out for every 3 and you start with 5 dice, if you get my meaning.
Divide your pike and shot into groups of 4 and you get 1 group and 1 left over, so 3 can be all shot 2 stay pike and shot. That is higher poodle math at work

Agree. It's "3/4 - all of foot BG's" (i.e., a minimum of 3/4 of the BG must be shot only). It's not "exactly 3 out of 4 BG" or "no more than 3/4 BG". It's quite clear...unless they're all having you on Blathergut.Blathergut wrote:Well 3/4 or more of the BGs must be shot only. Three out of 5 is not 3/4. So one would assume you would need to make it 4 or completely all 5.
If so, they would have written it as "3 per 4 BGs", and "3 per 4 BGs to All BGs" would mean for 7 BGs you could have from 3 to 7 of them be all Shot, which is of course too bizarre even for a lamb-clipped poodle.deadtorius wrote:Personally I would think you could only have 3 out of the 5 as all shot. 3 out of 4 battle groups can be all shot, kind of like losing 1 die out for every 3 and you start with 5 dice, if you get my meaning.
