See. Strangely I have not used them in FoG. Possibly just as strangely I did use them in DBM. They were arse in that too.

Yes, they're Chariot. I've not used mine since 7th edition. They were rubbish in that too. And 6th!

Camels don't move as a group with spear and would tie up a general moving them short to stay in touch. Or they'd fail the CMT to move short and be just too far to disorder the enemy knights, but just close enough to be caught in the spearmens rout and destroyed as usual.

[edit]They do need a general to move short since they move like cavalry. Not like the oafs they were in DBM.

They might be OK behind drilled spear. If the spear werem, say, 3MU in front of the camels then they could short move 2MU alloweing the camels to do their 5MU straight forward move into pong range.

Arab conquest. They are classed as CRAP. Poor, unprotected, camels for the full definition IIRC.

Especially if there is drinking involved

Phil, it would top your Britcon 2009 winning performance but people would think you were Jer...

That said if I see you dressed like that at the gaming table for FoG, I will buy you a beer...
