Three Kingdoms Korean Infantry -- how to field?

Post by khurasan_miniatures »

I'm having Three Kingdoms Koreans made for release in early 2011, and that means both protected and unprotected infantry with heavy weapon, or bow, or crossbow.

For both the protected and unprotected, it's basically half shooters, half heavy weapon.

I'm having them all made, my only question is, how will they be most commonly fielded?  They can either be fielded in mixed units, half shooters and half heavy weapon, or separate.  Which will be more common?

Also, will crossbow or bow be more widely used?

The answer may be different for the unprotected guys, who are Poor.

Any feedback appreciated, it will help with mould allocation.

I would go half and half, and more bow than XBow, 2:1 ish.

Thanks. When you say you'd go half and half, do you mean you'd field units that are half HW and half shooters?

On most occassions, but proportions would stay about the same either way, probably slightly tilted towards HW.

I would think mixed units would be much more common.
