My sense is that Bruce's cunning desing challenged everyone - including the authors - rather well. It scared everyone but ultimately its brittle natin challenged mainly Bruce. I think he had a couple of people on the rack when the wheels came off........any way well does to Don or Pyrhus as he will now be known!

The problem with Bruce's army was simply that it broke on 8 AP's. We had 15 BG's and could to some degree afford to throw them into the mincer to get Bruce out of possition. In the end we actually broke five of his BG's but two rallied back to FRG.
I actually think his army would have been more effective (if less maneuverable) with 4 BG's of 2 elephants and 3 BG's of 4 ghilmen.
