Army Size Range

I was just wondering, what are the designers thoughts on how the army lists will work with a range of army sizes?

As I understand, they are probably optimised for around 800-1000 points.

With Warhammer, we tend to play a range of points sizes from 1000 to 5000 (with scenarios using reserves!). This allows us to sneak in a quick hour long game at the drop of a hat, or plan for a full weekend major encounter.

The standard competition size army for warhammer is 1500-2000, so this would translate into a range of about 400-2500 for AoW.

Personal view ...

I reckon they are good for 800-1500 pts pretty easily. 1500 is a big big army - too big for a 6x4 I expect. So hopefully we have covered the range.
