RGs and disrupt/frag

Post by iversonjm »

Does the impact or shooting die from an RG factor into the dice loss calculations for disruption and frag? The fact that they are not "bases" would seem to indicate that they do not, but the exceptions listed on p.36 do not include dice per base calculations, so the question seems open.

I would say yes since it is part of the BG and the BG as a whole loses dice if fragged or disrupted. IF it is the odd die out you could choose to lose it or one of the other shooting/ impact dice from the battle group, your choice depending on which has the best chances of hitting.

Matt

In the How many dice... sections on pages 117 and 118 it specifically states including dice for RG. 117 is a miss from the index. I will get added to the errata thread.

In any case, dice are lost per 3 (or 2) dice, not per 3 (or 2) bases, so RGs not being a base is irrelevant.
