Strange Dice?

Below is the combat result between a dismounted Knight and a Longbow unit. It's from a current LOEG game.

A:[None,POA=1, die=3, 2, 4, 5, hits=2]
+1 Heavy Weapon; target is foot
D: [None, POA=0, die=1, 2, 1, hits=2]

Can someone explain how the LB scored 2 hits?

it might have scored from support ranged shooting (as a mixed unit, same as MF persian immortals). the support dices are not shown into the central area, but only on the summary windows (which is wrong, and should be corrected).

Support shooting could explain this if the dismounted knights just charged the longbow men. When defending bow/longbow armed MF get two extra attacks using missile POAs in addition to their normal ones. These rolls are not listed in the display of the die rolls but would explain the extra 2 hits.

Thanks for the explanation guys. The Knights had charged so support shooting hits account for it.
