Not very encouraging :) I suspect their best use remains against other horses like previously suggested.

Huguenot vs. Catholic battles (circa 1590) are balanced and fun (sanguinary as well, but that's part of the fun). Lots of interesting troop types.

What are the interesting troop types and will these interesting troop types going to be represented in FoG-R?
Keith

It was better to leave disputing about the faith to the theologians and just run argumentative non-believers through with the sword (Louis IX).

I have been flicking through Renaissance armies by George Gush to refresh my memory he states that the Huguenot use Royal Swiss at the end of the French War of Religion will FoG-R lists allow the Huguenots to use Royal Swiss or any other type of Swiss for that matter?

Well nobody (other than the authors) knows yet as the books have not been published.

However:

Huguenots: Pikes, Cuirassiers [Heavily Armoured, Superior Horse, Impact Pistol, Melee Pistol], Commanded shot [Arquebus]

timmy1 wrote:Spring, all I will say is, despite my affinity with the Huguenots, if you want to try a Hugenot army with MF, Superior, Arquebus shot BGs without Pike, I will take the army of Guise and the Leaguers. Gendarmes, Superior Swiss, and Artillery, plus mixed foot BG of Landesnequets looks a better bet to me.
looks like Swiss are available somehow (it needs to be confirmed though..)
