[BUG] v1.3.5 Taking Screenshots

Post by cothyso »

There's definitely a bug in taking screenshots from FoG at this moment (Windows 7 Home 64 bits, Radeon Mobility 5470, Catalyst 10.8).

Starting to make short AAR's for LoEG S3 IF A battles, it became quite a nuisance.

For example, first when I've just started a game and I am pressing the Print Screen button, then I'm pasting in Paint, I'm only getting either a screenshot of the game selection menu, or a black screen.

Each time I'm getting a screenshot during the game, I have to first press PrtScr, then paste into Paint (getting a wrong, older screen), get back into the game and press PrtScr again and only then pasting in Paint will get the right screen.

This is only happening with FoG, PrtScr key works fine with any other game/application.

How about making a key directly into the game to dump a screenshot into a screenshots folder?

I normally use alt+Print Scrn for screenshots from the game and this has generally worked correctly in both Win XP and in Vista. (Both 32 bit editions.) Just wanted to clarify whether you are using any key to modify Print Scrn. (Alt+ copies the application window, Ctl+ copies the desktop.)

Yes please. :)

Although the bug must be related either to Windows 7, or Radeon driver.
Works like a charm in Vista using G-Force8600.

Probably one of Microsofts un-documented features
