That's Odd...Shifting Gold amounts
I've noticed that at times, my Gold levels suddenly change when I go into the Trade function. And yes, when they change favorably, I take shameless advantage of it. Sometimes, though, it changes to my disadvantage.

The Caveman Speaks: Its the level of income that changes. This does not happen all the time by any means, but it does happen. No, I'm afraid that at the moment, I'm not running the patch.iainmcneil wrote:Thats odd - do you mean the prices change or the amount of gold in your treasury changes? Are you running the latest patch?
Oh, and I have just taken the city of Tyre under the benevolent administration of Judah.

Price changes
I've also noticed an occasional hiccup in projected income level when you enter the trade screen. It seems as if the program recalculates the rates of commodities at that point and adjusts your income up or down to reflect the changes. The only time it's been significant is when another empire appears to be trying to build an upgrade or special unit type, and needs a lot of some rare commodity in a hurry.
