We use the standard one inch MU, as listed in the rules - we'd have specified anything different in the handouts.
As to the tables, they are at least six feet by four feet: the actual trestles produce a table of six feet by about 4 foot six. In the past, we have marked out the four foot depths, but that actually created at least as many problems as it solved.
I'm not sure what Andy has decided to do for 2011 - I dare say he'll post something shortly

Andy
a few ideas
i) Just state that all games are on 6x4 irrespective of table size
ii) make the table size the fact, but on a prebattle roll of 1 or 2 the game is played lengthwise
iii) say that all armies who can do so must have more than half/two thirds of their bg's as non-skirmishers
Excellent ideas Azrael and I would prefer to implement them given the choice.
Unfortunately I was amazed that a few people yelped pitifully when I made similar suggestions a few months ago.
"Thats not fair, it punishes my favourite Pocohontas tribal army and I simply won't play etc. etc."
I have therefore already given my word that the rules would be as written - no adjustments. Cannot now go back on that.
As I said your ideas are not too dissimilar to mine and gives more armies better opportunities.
Steve Neate wrote a fine article earlier this year on the problems certain competition armies face on 6x4 tables.
I'll ignore the yelpers next year though and try to be a bit more radical.
