Meow....the lions prove to be kitties

Post by SMK-at-work »

I must confess I started to wonder when I realised the AB pack outweighed the Lion's "massive" one by 10kg, and it all went straight downhill from there!

Now don't get me wrong - we love to see Sir Clive eat his words, but apart from that this Lions tour was expected to be a real challenge - England won the WC, Wales won the 6-Nations, and the Super 12 has been derided as "touch football" by some folks.......admit it - you know who you are!! :D

The Nthn Hemisphere pack was expected to be all over our blokes - who were expected not to know how to scrummage properly, and the Lions starting hooker, whoever he was, was supposed to be the most accurate lineout thrower in the world.

Johnny did pretty well, but he was pretty much the only decent effort from the whole team all night. Apart from him the hail might've been the only thing that saved the Lions from giving up 50 points!!

I'd been hoping the "A" team would put up a good fight - while still loosing of course ;) - the "B" teams have been less than impressive vs various low ranked provinces - but we were assured the "A" team was so much better!

I think we might be wanting refunds after tonight - I bet the cost of tickets on the auction web sites drops through the floor!!

I'd just like to point out that Australia is NOT New Zealand, and it was a tie, that the Lions did not win the world cup - they've never competed, and SCW tried to use what was left of the England WC side as the basis of his 1st test team, and we all know how well that went for them!! :)

You really shouldn't rely so much on past glories either!!

Duncan we've got about 4 million people down here - that's 1/4 the size of London AFAIK - we can't quite manage to be brilliant at everything......yet! ;)

It had to happen - Lions jokes!! :)

The lions coach takes the team out for a training run and first up he tells everyone to assume their normal position.

So they all go and stand behind the goalposts and wait for the conversion

he lions are making available a helpline for fans who are disappointed with their teams performance

The helpline number is : 0800 10 10 10 ??“ that??™s 0800 won nothing won nothing won nothing!!

Whats your wife trying to tell you if shes wearing a lions shirt in bed??

You ain't going to score......ever!!

There are only 2 things that can be seen by the naked eye from space...

The first is the great wall of china...the second is the gap in the lions??™ defence!!

Whats the difference between the lions and an arsonist

An arsonist wouldn't waste that many matches
