Leaders - What am I doing wrong?

Iain: there does seem to be a recurring theme of recent patches either reintroducing things that have been fixed, or introducing things in development (e.g. Cavalry / Skirmisher evades). It might be worth looking at the control processes because from a customer perspective these are really irritating, particularly when playing competition matches.

I do appreciate all the time and effort that you guys give in listening to us and developing the game, but these are mistakes that could and should be avoided.

In an ideal world I agree, but with the resources HexWar has available if we did this we'd be releasing a lot less or no improvements.

The reality is these problems are almost impossible to spot until they get to the real world. We don't have the resources to do extended QA on these things and rely on volunteers for testing.

Just a follow-up on this.
It's definitely caused by having only one option in the drop--down menu.
Got the same sort of error when using the German(early) army and added an allied commander.
The Germans can only have the Swiss as allied, and the error re-occurred, this time under the nation column.
Note however that the Swiss have multiple units available for leaders, so bodyguard selection works fine.



Again, it's purely cosmetic, since the army works fine in the game.
