How many armoured bases needed for ECW army

Post by deadtorius »

I just got 2 boxes of the new warlord Curassier, and from what I have been reading it sounds like there were not a lot of all armoured cavalry units on either side in the ECW. So brings up the question of how many units of fully armoured BG's are there in the ECW Royalist and Parliament armies? Warlord suggests mixing them in with some of the other unarmoured cavalry guys. I was just wondering since I havent started to do anything with them so far and although I would like all armoured BG's if mixed units are more appropriate then I could go that way too.

I don't think that mixing them up would be very realistic. Suggest you keep the spares for when you want to play TYW, when you may want lots of them.

But no Heavily Armoured. (The warlord cuirassiers are only suitable for Hazelrigg's lobsters in the Early Parliamentary army)
