He too I think it was on Sunday mornings, I never managed to get it but the battles were good IIRC they were be-seiging some town for a long time.

Below is a link to the opening credits of the Flashing blade

Hi

I loved this as a callow youth and for me it was in black & white (as thats what our telly was) and I seem to remember it came on after Bannana Splits show on Sat mornings but the old memory is fuzzy. There was also a French version of Robinson Crusoe that seemed similar production team ?

Halcyon days...................

I remember Robinson Crusoe being on EVERY summer holiday. I also really liked a series, in French, about a crusader, and one about two pilots that flew Mirage jets. I have managed to find both these, but not in English versions.

Halcyon days indeed! :)

"You have to fight for what you want, for all that you believe......"

Whilst we are on the topic (but slightly off the forum topic) of French series from our youth - anyone else remember the opening credits of the "White Horses".....?

Getting through the rules and planning first game for next week - only slight concern is how much I am going to have to invest in getting the right army........and many wrong armies.....
