The Im-famous Celt-commander
Viking or even early Frankish cavalry wouldn't be too out of place but check these out:

http://renegademiniatures.com/sen.htm
http://www.essexminiatures.co.uk/gal_sk1.html
Can't recommend any of them because I've never bought or painted 25-8mm.

eg England, 1040-66 use Norman knight figures.
There is a new set of plastic Normans being produced by Conquest games http://www.conquest-games.co.uk/. I am not sure if they have been released yet or are just due real soon now. They even have some round shields and with a bit of kit bashing from the other plastic figure ranges you should be more than able to make them into passable Saxons and Anglo Danes.

Once they are available from Maelstrom games http://www.maelstromgames.co.uk/ you will probably be able to take advantage of their free postage to anywhere in the world.......Sirstroud wrote:ah, but i'm from australian, postage'll cost a fair bit.hammy wrote:There is a new set of plastic Normans being produced by Conquest games http://www.conquest-games.co.uk/.
