Bug? Delete key not removing units?

I am finishing up my map and can't delete placed units using the usual delete key. I can place an object and then delete it by holding the delete key, but not units. Rotating a unit by hovering over it and hitting R works fine though. Latest patch. Any thoughts?

you have to hold delete and click on it

I had the same problem, especially when you just press delete for tiles and objects.. but for units you have to hold and click, who would have guessed?
