Good on you
Hi Matt
Previous message wasn't derogatory by the way. You know if an organiser of something wins then questions are asked, especially raffles? I have asked quite a few people, just one more when he makes his move.
If you want to do it though, really would like a go, then you are the 16th player.
Cheers
Eric

SOAII - 600pts Round 1
Quick recap of the rules below for those that haven't played in the previous tourneys.
Armies to be used are 600pt Storm of Arrows only, the first player in each tie is to submit the challenge and then PM their opponent with the password for the game. Fog of War and double move are to be enabled for all games.
Players must stick to their original army choice throughout the whole tournament, any changes to the troop selection desired are allowed from round to round, so you will be able to tailor your force somewhat depending on what enemy you are going to be facing.
The first round will have eight ties in one group, the winner of tie 1 will play the winner of tie 2 and the winner of tie 3 will play the winner of tie 4 etc etc down the list. In the eventuality of a draw the army that suffers the lowest amount of casualties will go through to the next round. Please post results to this page.
If both players agree that they are not happy with the map the battle is to be fought on, they can restart the game in the hope of getting a more agreeable map.
In the case that neither player in a battle is prepared to be the aggressor and a stalemate ensues that cannot be resolved by starting again and completing within the given time frame, then I will have to flip a coin to decide who goes through to the next round.
I suggest a 14 day turnaround, so current deadline for first round matches will be 13/09
Good luck to all, first round draw is below.
1 ) ericdoman1 - Medieval Irish (Early) vs Mike48 - Low Countries (Maximilian)
2 ) dazzam - HYW English (Continental) Allies vs davouthojo - WOTR (Lancastrian)
3 ) Panospap - Burgundian Ordonnance vs deeter - Swiss (Burgundian War)
4 ) pantherboy - Later Scots Isles and Highlands vs batesmotel - Ordonnance French (Later)
5 ) MesaDon - Condotta (Papal States) vs iversonjm - WOTR (Lancastrian)
6 ) TheGrayMouser - Medieval German (Early) vs ianiow - Medieval Swedish (Later)
7 ) Xiggy - Condotta (Venice) vs iandavidsmith - HYW English (Continental) Late
8 ) hidde - Medieval Danish (Later) vs Triarius - Anglo Irish (Later)

I'm back! Having ridden a couple of camels over a mile or so, including a trot for about 100 yards then it has probably removed any possibility of more children!andersm73 wrote:ROR / IF 700pt Round 2

I see no patch has been issued in my absence, so did BatesMotel play Pantherboy or am I still to play BatesMotel (once a patch for his Bosporans is released)?Morbio wrote:The only problem will be getting the Bosporan patch(es). If it comes out while I'm away then feel free to have the final. If it hasn't been issued before I return then I guess I get to play the final against Pantherboy.andersm73 wrote:Morbio
I was proposing having the ROR final between pantherboy and batesmotel to reach an end to the original tourney, potentially another patch will be released soon with the Bosporans fixed but this isn't definite. Is this solution going to be a problem?
cheers

OK, we'll just wait for the patch then. Any idea when it will be?batesmotel wrote:I think we're still on.Morbio wrote:I see no patch has been issued in my absence, so did BatesMotel play Pantherboy or am I still to play BatesMotel (once a patch for his Bosporans is released)?Morbio wrote: The only problem will be getting the Bosporan patch(es). Sounds like it isn't going to happen any time soon so I guess we should go ahead and play with 1.3.3. I'll PM you when I have the challenge up (or you can PM me if you want to set it up.)Morbio wrote:OK, we'll just wait for the patch then. Thanks for the game and yes the terrain was very much in my favour. A more open battlefield and I would have struggled.
Cheers
