Smoke

Post by Stonemason »

I haven't encountered any units with smoke capability, but it would be nice if some did.

My tanks have a tendency to smoke....and burn.

All kidding aside, I agree with the idea that smoke rounds would be fun.

Should be pretty easy to mod.

Smoke that lasts a few turns would be cool.

Along the same line of sight blocking issue....the game doesn't block los units and should. IE: Infantry would advance behind the cover of tanks in real life so they should either block los or have a defensive bonus from the other unit providing cover.

I realize that not all tanks and ordnance had smoke capability but those that did would be kind of handy on the battlefield.

I believe Smoke should simply provide a hindrance when firing into/out of and through it. Of course if firing through more than 1 smoke location the hindrance would increase.
