need a copy of the rules
Is there any way for me to get a copy o fthe rules in the next 3hrs? I am going on holiday for two weeks, have the rules and lists onf advance order but to do no wargaming during my hols will be a major pain.......
If I could get the draft rules emailed now I could print and taken them to read through... my armies are ready, I will be buying them anyway regardless of what I read.... and I already have the NDA for nap rules....
any chance? ny chance at all?
email is chubooga@tiscali.co.uk if it can be done... I will leave the packing of my pc till last in case this can be done!
go on..... pretty please?

Ah, despite our unbridled eagerness, you've given much already! I do thank you for that. I have a chunk of an army painted, a bit more glued, and none of that could have happened if you hadn't at least offered the tidbits you have.rbodleyscott wrote:Unfortunately, we are mere foot soldiers. The NDA prevents us from obliging. Sorry.
Thanks!

In which spirit, here is the 800 point Cornish looney ECW Royalist army I used at Britcon:Blathergut wrote:Ah, despite our unbridled eagerness, you've given much already! I do thank you for that. FC
2 x TC
1 x 4 Cavaliers, Superior, Armoured, Impact Pistol, Melee Pistol
2 x 4 Cavaliers, Average, Armoured, Impact Pistol, Melee Pistol
2 x 2 Commanded shot - MF, Average, Unarmoured, Musket
2 x 3 Dragoons - Dragoons, Average, Unarmoured, Musket
7 x 6 Cornish Foot Superior, Unarmoured (4 MF Musket*, 2 HF Pike)
Note that this option is not permitted more than one BG of Superior mounted.
The only thing I was not happy with at Britcon was the BGs of 3 Dragoons, who had to take an awful lot of Cohesion Tests. I think I would have been better off with 1 BG of 4. (Max in army is 6).

Actually it isn't that.david53 wrote:If like other * things in fog its only half bases shootBlathergut wrote:Thanks, RBS!
Can you tell me the difference between "musket" and "musket*"?
Musket get 1 dice per 2 bases at long range, 1 dice per base at short range.
Musket* get 1 dice per 2 bases at long range, 1 dice per front rank base and 1 dice per 2 rear rank bases at short range.

[quote="Blathergut"]They're too busy shouting 'huzzzaaaahs' for the King.

From my sealed knot days - I seem to remember a 'cheer' of 'God and the King' for the Royalists troops. "England's Freedom, Soldier's Rights." was another popular one (for the other side if I remember right)... There are many other phrases - many can be taken from songs of the period.

Yes (Presumably by introduction)deadtorius wrote:Can normal muskets shoot 2 deep?
Neither. It is due to not having enough muskets. In reality there would be more pikes to compensate, but the present arrangement gets the effect we want without making the BGs look odd.The restrictions on the Musket* is that due to poor performance of the troops or is it the very slow reload of the weapon?
Sorry my mistake.rbodleyscott wrote:Actually it isn't that.david53 wrote:If like other * things in fog its only half bases shootBlathergut wrote:Thanks, RBS!
