Hi all,
I just bought the game, played it for a few hours and really like it. Was really fortunate tonight to stumble over it, because I have not heard about it before.
The only thing what bothers me is the fast animations, especially when the AI is moving. Is there a way to turn down the speed?
Appreciate any idea.
Best regards,
Michèl

It's not really possible to do, as it feeds into a lot of the game logic, and so would break multiplayer, as well as some of the choreography of shooting, retreating, etc.
I guess we could add a global slowdown?
Having said that, IIRC the AI has a special speedup, designed to stop their turns being too boring to wait through, I will look into whether we could make that a toggle.
Cheers

Thanks for your answer Pip!
I appreciate the idea behind the faster animations to prevent them to become boring, however, sometimes there is no chance to enjoy them, because they are so fast.
As I said before I only played a few hours (the desert campaign), but in the missions with air support the planes are rushing so fast that`s it`s hard to see them. And, since you modelled them, why shouldn`t we see them?
What I like very much is that you included a camera movement when two units engaging each other, seeing the firing unit at first and then moving over two the unit which is engaged. That`s nicely done. There are too many games which neglect that and if you haven`t zoomed out far enough you miss everything.
Thanks again and best regards,
Michèl
