Elite units get some great abilities...

The massacre of one little 2 pdr. Aimed fire, a new ability - they had support from infantry, a vickers and a mortar to accomplish it.

One of the infantry squads gained sniper ability too which was quite helpful.

Great stuff.

Nice.. I got sniper once but didn't get to use it because there was nothing left to shoot at :)

Aimed fire can be a real win! Watched a Bulge 2 when a dug in Elite 76mm (IIRC) very nearly heroically held out to the end with a great pile of enemy around him, but once he lost all his support they over-ran him near the end.

I still think of him sometimes...

Got sniper once in Africa. Each infantry unit I shoot at becomes suppressed easily.
