**BRITCON CHARITY RAFFLE**
I’ll be running a raffle at this year’s Britcon to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Tickets are just £1 each or £5 for a strip of 5 with all proceeds going to charity.
The draw will be made at the end of the final day - but if you can’t stay until the end I will get any prizes won to you somehow.
Hopefully you will agree that there are some great prizes here and it’s for a great cause.
The prizes so far include the following:
• Free entry package with accommodation to Britcon 2011
• Field of Glory Rule Book signed by the authors
• Pro Painted Field of Glory Camp by NYR Old Design
• Flames of War – Pro Painted Britcon 2010 Objective
• Flames of War – Pro Painted Tiger Company by DracoStandard
• Osprey Men-at-Arms ‘A Celebration’
• Warhammer 40K Hammerhead Tau Gunship
• Warhammer 40K Dark Eldar Talos
• Warhammer 40K Tyranid carnifax, ‘Old One Eye’
• 1 litre of Bell’s Whiskey
I hope to see you there!
Cheers

Re: **BRITCON CHARITY RAFFLE**
Does this mean I can buy 2 strips for £10? Or do I have to buy 10 individual tickets? What if I only have £7 left after buying cigarettes first?petedalby wrote:Tickets are just £1 each or £5 for a strip of 5

putting the arg into argumentative, except for the lists I check where there is no argument!

Thanks to everyone at both Britcon & Rampage who bought raffle tickets or made donations in aid of Cancer Research. Thanks to your generosity we raised £715 in total. My employer will match this fund raising with a further £500 so that’s a grand total of £1215 – fantastic!
If you weren’t at Britcon the list of the prize winners is as follows:
• Free entry package to Britcon 2011 – Steve Tresadern
• Field of Glory Rule Book signed by the authors – Mark Hargrave
• Pro Painted Field of Glory Camp by NYR Old Design – Andrew Campden
• Flames of War – Britcon 2010 Objective – Hunter Hope
• Flames of War – Pro Painted Tiger Company by DracoStandard – Nigel Emsen
• PC Game - HISTORY Great Battles Medieval – Scott Mentiply
• Warhammer 40K Tyranid carnifax, ‘Old One Eye’ – Wayne Dare
• Warhammer 40K Hammerhead Tau Gunship – Dave Morrison
• Warhammer 40K Dark Eldar Talos – Matt Iverson
• Osprey Men-at-Arms ‘A Celebration’ – Steve Clarke
• Caveman – Can your tribe survive? X 2 – Gilles Wielgosz & Neil Howard
• 1 litre of Bell’s Whiskey – Simon Curtis
• Figure case – Alison Fordham
Hunter & Scott – I handed your prizes to George Dick
Nigel – Lynda Fairhurst has the Tigers
Wayne – I handed yours to Keith Martin-Smith
Dave & Simon - please PM me so that we can work out how to get your prizes to you
With JD’s announcement of free entry to all for next year’s Britcon, Steve Tresadern’s prize will be upgraded and will also include free entry to the BHGS Challenge next year.
The support from the Britcon Team was excellent – especially from Alison & Jan – and I really appreciated all of the kind wishes. There are too many others to list individually but you know who you are – thank you.
Back to the training now!
Cheers
