25mm FoG Practice Game at Britcon

Post by tonygarry »

Ed MacDonald, John Wall and I have all entered the 25mm FoG event this year and we've all had only limited experience playing FoG so if anyone is around from around 3pm on the Friday and would like a practice we would be very grateful.......

Thanks

Tony

And I've just agreed to float from 25mm to FoGR

Anyone available Friday from about 14.00 to show me how FoGR works?

Dave

All being well I should be there all day Friday (I plan to travel up Thursday) so would be glad to show you how FoGR works (provided you promise not to beat me 25-0 in your first game!)

If you are interested, drop me a personal message and we can arrange it. I need the practice.

Regards
Tim

Tim,

it now seems I'm not guaranteed to be playing FoGR so I'll not take you up on the offer of a practice. Chack Dave Fairhurst who's looking for a game Friday PM.

Tony, Ed or John,

I'll be bringing my Ottomans on Friday so I can now do a practice game in the afternoon. See you there

Dave

PS What armies are you using?

Dave A. - thanks for the heads up. Good luck with the 25mms. I will contact Dave F (who I met at Britcon) about a FoGR practise game Friday PM.

Tim,

Sorry about this - it was David53 who was looking for a FoGR practice, not David F.

There really are too many Daves in this hobby.

Norse Irish, Samurai and Successors
Not much in it from my point of view so whoever wants a game against Shooty Cav has an appointment for Friday 3pm.

The prospect of such a reduction in bar takings seems to have caused panic at the BHGS - I'm now told I might not be needed for FoGR

As we still seem to be getting eitries for various periods popping out of thw woodwork we need players to float between periods.

At present there are several floating between FoG:R and various other periods.

My current understanding is that:
Dave Allen is floating between FoG:R and FoG:AM 25mm
Keving Johnson is floating between FoG:R and FoG:AM Exotics
Jim Gibson is floating between FoG:R and DBMM

Guys,

I can probably bring another army if you would like practice on friday afternoon. Steve may also be interested (I'll give him a shout).

The only thing I would say, is that we should be there by 2.00 o'clock as long as nothing happens on the M6.

Dave,

Look forward to it :D :D :D :D
