Frustration
Am sending this again. Cant get used to this forum. When I save and I try to load the load does not work. I have to start again - from the tutorial!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not on. Am I the only one?
The game description stated that one can choose the Axis. But i am always lumped with the Allies! Any suggestions?

Sorry you are having problems. Moving this to tech support. It sounds like your machine is failing to save out the data for some reason. If you got to my doc\my games\bbcba do you see any files there?
What is your operating system and specs?
You can play Germans in multiplayer, which is detailed on the product page.

Frustration - 2
Thank you for replying.
01. I only have access to Campaigns and Quit. Multiplayers and Editors donot work not matter how much i click. What am i doing wrong.
02. A member of the forum stated that the game saves automatically from one campaign and the other. Probably. But when i save the game and exit and then seek to continue from where i left and i attempt to load; load does not work. i am returned to main screen.
03. I have a VISTA M/S. I have a gamer's machine with loads of RAM and GB and a powerfull NVIDIA engine. I have no problems with games including other Slitherine games.
Thanks

Thanks for the details.
- Can you look into the My Documents\My Games\BBCBA\Saves folder and tell me what files are in there
- Are you exiting the game cleanly using the Quit button, rather than ALT+F4 etc?
Please try completing the tutorial, then going back into Campaigns (without exiting the game) and see what is unlocked.
Cheers
Pip

When you load a saved game it will jump to the scenario if you are mid scenario or just load up the unlocked status of the campaign. Click campaign to continue from where you got to. We should probably change it to return you to the selected campaign when you load from between missions to make it clearer.

I have the same problem.
Having compleated the Tutorial, and played the desert until a savepoint after scenario four I think(the one with the assault on a ridgeline.) When I come back to the game, the Desert campaign i now locked again, tutorial and the rest seems open though. When I try to load the savegame, the program just returns to the main scene.
The following is in Dokumenter/my games/BBCBA/SAVES:
1.LSF
2.LSF
3.LSF
CAMPAIGNS_0Tutorial.ach
CAMPAIGNS_0Tutorial.DAT
CAMPAIGNS_1Desert.ach
CAMPAIGNS_1Desert.DAT
CURRENT.CFS
TEMP.TMP
System is XP.

Did you exit the game normally - using the Quit button?
I think we may need to alter how the load/save functionality works - there is no need to save the game outside of battles, as it tracks your progress automatically as you complete missions, and that might be confusing people.
If you complete the first tutorial mission again, the desert should unlock, and you should still have credit for the missions you completed.
Let me know if that happens.
Cheers

Yes - I have used to Quit button to exit the game.
And this is actualy the second time I restart due to this error. And it did happen that way the first time. Once past Tutorial, desert opened for the scenarios I had already played.
I have just skipped the Desert for now actualy starting on the newly opened Normandy
PS: getting Unhandled exceptions from time to time too. and the animations are SLOW. Even so it uses up the full power of one core......

I suspect you guys are pressing ESC to save while in the menu screens. Don't to that.
That Save and Load feature is useful only if you are playing a scenario and want to save midway.
You do not need to save campaign progress. It will automatically know what you have unlocked based on the battles you've won.
To the developers: I think you should not allow the ESC key to work when the players are browsing the main screen.
