Getting distorted graphics and black lines across the screen from the bottom left obscuring a lot of the unit info

I think my laptop's system should meet the specs and think I'm up to date on graphics drivers

The Diag lists the driver date as being 2008, so it might be that there are more recent ones (although Intel will often deprecate drivers for their chipsets while still selling them...).

The simplest way is probably to upload it to a free sharing site and then just post the link - it doesn't need to be embedded

Not yet. It's very odd in that it doesn't seem to be mis-rendered polygons (nothing is missing), and none of the textures seem distorted.

Best guess at the moment is that something is making one of the border calls (to put black borders on the text) render incorrectly, but why it would be doing it in the way it does is a mystery!

I think I might have a 945 in something at home, so I will try and get a test setup to replicate.

I assume it still happens even with the update?

Yep, still happening with the update.

Also the colour bleeding / distortion happens on all screens from the front menu through campaign selection to the game itself.

I am seeing the same problem with the same intel grapics sset and Vista on a laptop but on a Netbook with the same Intel grapic set and Windows XP this does not happen.
